Easter 2013 in Colorado

Back to Colorado to visit my parents and sister for the Easter weekend.

Making himself at home in the breakfast tray

It was hard to get Griff away from these trains for food, errands, outdoor fun, and especially a nap. He's obsessed with Thomas (Na Na, as he calls him)

Park near my parents house

Jai Jai and Griff. He prefers grandmas to push him on the swing than his mom or dad

The fast tube slide was his favorite. He even figured out how to crawl in himself

He convinced Jai Jai to go and cracked up when she came out

He got Dad to go down with him.

Attempting pull ups and loving the swing on the way up

Brandon on the driving range with my Dad

Griff spent his Easter Sunday Sacrament meeting outside the church crushing through snow

He got a little dilerious on the drive home from church. He wanted my arm and then laughed when I fought to keep him from biting it

A new form of passing the time

His first Easter egg hunt. He was too little to care last year

Notice his stuffed cheeks. He ate from each egg before moving on to finding the next one.

His basket

With Aunt Baylee

Playing himself to exhaustion

He found the turtle and thought it needed a little love

Teaching his son to throw rocks

Morning view

Slapping his hand to the beat of the Thomas theme song

We stopped at Cabela's in Grand Junction on the way home for a break in the road trip. Griff loved it

Exploring the tent

Loved the stuffed wildlife. He kept asking to see more

Got so bored after a while he started to bite his book and swing it around like a puppy would

Randoms from Griff's 17th month

Around the house

Starting to work his Strider

Loves his book corner. (hidden by the mess of his toy room).  I find him there often when it gets too quiet

He actually let out an audible "oh" as he got excited about something in this book

Not uncommon to find him eating like this

Stole an apple out of the fridge and dug in

Some Daddy time

Double Fisted

He helps me put clothes in and take clothes out of the dryer. He tried to crawl in on this day so I gave him a boost just to see what he'd do

He closed himself in and then got worried. I let him out promptly. He still tries to get in on occasion.

Love a clean, naked baby.

He loves to "drive." I was shocked though when he picked the keys up out of the cup holder and stuck them in the ignition like he'd been doing it for years!

Playing in Daddy's Boston Wailer that sits in our backyard in need of a little TLC so we can get it on the lake
Mommy's shoes

Snuggling with an old friend

Exploring the mailbox

Belly button

Reversing off curbs

Enjoying donuts Daddy brought us from Vegas (St. George doesn't have a donut shop, only dounts from the grocery store don't count)
Book time with Bampa (Griff's word for Grandpa)

With the Cousins

The swing with Gram at Mean Duck Park (also known as Duck Poop Park)

Afternoon at Sand Hollow Reservoir

Making Salad (lettuce and gold fish)

Trains at Granpa's house. This is where the addiction began

Riding His Stider (sorry about the annoying wheat grinder background noise)

Reading with Bampa
