First Flight

We had a spontaneous family reunion in Arizona. I spent more time having fun than I did taking pictures, but we had a family photo shoot I'll post when we get the pictures.

Griffin had his first flight. He did a great job. He slept most the way and took a bottle to help his ears during landing. Traveling with a kid is so much more difficult despite how smoothly things went. I was surprised at how much help we got from security crews and airline staff. Same with the hotels, but sleeping in a hotel room with a kid that is off schedule is a sleepless. It was all worth it, though.

My sisters thought it would be funny to put a bow on him

All the way from Norway

Casey and Beate and kids came to the US for a visit. We were lucky to have them drop in for a day. It was their first time meeting Griffin and our first time meeting little man Noah. We introduced the kids to some of our favorites

Griff's first time on a 4-wheeler

riding in the bike trailor

turns out hibachi grill is perfect for kids

Biking Baby

We are back on our bikes again and Griff is joining us in the trailer. It's freedom and he loves it. I'm finally getting out again and getting Griff familiar with bikes.

Griffin - Four months old

I've heard people say things get a lot more manageable at four months. They were right. Griffin started sleeping through the night. He takes a long nap. He started eating rice cereal. He sits up a lot better. He spits up less, cries less, and laughs and interacts more. His face is still so expressive. He has Brandon and me cracking up all the time. And he's growing. As of his 4 month check up his percentiles are: Weight - 72%, Head - 89%, Length - 96%

Still bald

From the month:
I love his hands

He took this. I was keeping him entertained with my iphone and he tapped the screen in the right spot

He's found his thumb

baby leggings. They make diaper changes so easy

Homemade toys. We love them

Aunt Baylee came to town. He showed off his jumping skills

First time eating rice cereal. He's still not a big fan but will humor me and swallow it with a disgusted expression

Little old man

I have no words for this except I'm grateful for the friend who suggested I buy a box of disposable rubber gloves
He was into the Costco coupon book. Cried when it fell onto the floor

Hiking with Uncle Russ

Thumb AND bottle. Tough life

Cutting through a casino in Vegas to get to a family friendly restaurant. A lady passing us in the casino said to the guy with her in a really snobbishly disgusted voice, "why would you bring your baby to a disgusting casino!" Obviously we just wanted to expose him to second-hand smoke, tasteless attire, and greed at a young age. Duh!
