After Colorado I met up with Brandon in Salt Lake. It was so good being back there. The nights were cool and it was so great to see friends. B got in a few mnt bike rides - 1 night ride and 2 day rides. I got to road ride with Tif, who patiently hung with my slow self. Brandon and I miss it. We also made it to Porcupine Grill, American Fork Canyon, a demolition derby in Heber, and hiking up in Deer Valley. The Jennys threw me a baby shower and Weenig let us crash her pad. Thanks! It was an awesome weekend. Good thing we'll be back in just a few weeks.

Tif and I went to get her some official biking clothes now that she's a roadie. I saw this tri suit gem and just couldn't resist trying it on with the baby bump. Hot...I know! |

Tibblefork Trail in Am. Fork Canyon. Solo ride |

B rode, I drove. I miss the canyons |

Don't miss the SLC smog. You could see downtown if it wasn't so murky out there |

A diaper cake! Never seen anything like it. Awesome, Jenny W! |

Our real celebration for our 1st anniversary - dinner + one night at the Goldener Hirsh Inn in Deer Valley (thanks Travelzoo). The fondue was incredible. So was the rest of the food, the room, and the service. I highly recommend this place |

Heber City Demolition Derby! You can't go wrong |
|
Britt caught Jenny a T-Shirt that was flung into the crowd. |
|
He also caught a box of Creamies and shared them with us (Britt, Jenny, Anna, Nate was on baby duty and hadn't returned yet) |
|
I just love the color. Not sure you can pull it off anywhere other than a demo derby or rodeo |
|
Bucket o' donuts - derby food for sure. This belonged to the kid next to us |
