Faa laa la la laa la laa la laaa

December festivities - a time for old and new Christmastime traditions and celebrations
Winder Dairy scones and chocolate or rootbeer milk. B got the rootbeer milk...gross.
This was a first: watching Dr. Suess' "The Grinch who Stole Christmas" while sitting in a hot tub. Good thing it's only a 24 min movie because that was a really hot hot tub.
Our absolute favorite: The Mo Tab Christmas Concert. We were skeptical about the guest this year, but David Archuletta was impressive. We went to Gourmande for dessert after.
Our friends came by. Their little boy covered our tree in handmade ornaments. We kept one in the end.

Took Brandon skate skiing for the first time. We ended up on a trail that far exceeded both our skill levels. A hill that one experienced skier told us would take us 20 min to climb actually took us 45min. Funny, but mostly that part just sucked.

We also:
  • Went to the little chocolatiers place for extremely rich hot chocolate. They should have shot glass size portions and call it good.
  • Walked through the Temple Square lights
  • Did a Park City Main Street stroll. I LOVE Dolly's bookstore, especially at Christmas time. It's a must for me during the holidays. We were lucky to have it snow while up there.  Reminded us of one of our favorite dating memories in the snow up there one year. We also found Flanagans - an Irish Pub- this year. We HIGHLY recommend it. So good.
  • Watched holiday movies including: Elf, Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, The Family Stone, Scrooged, The Nativity Story, and ran out of time for the rest of our movie list
  • Went to Sweet's candy factory to hand select fresh taffy in the flavors we like
  • Bought Lion House rolls with cinnamon butter.
  • Got snowed in on one of the unpredicted storms (not the "Blizzard of 2010" that turned out to be 3 inches on weak snow). We made hot chocolate and watched movies...and did laundry
